Webb5 juni 2024 · In general, the recommended audio systems under Windows are primarily ASIO or WASAPI. If the problem with ASIO persists, try: Restarting the computer to see if this makes any difference. Or reinstalling the ASIO drivers. Or connecting the TASCAM to a different USB port.

This is usually caused by having another application open before launching REAPER. The other application doesn't release the audio drivers, causing the "initializing" error in REAPER.
