But that's the new version with out any amazon crap etc, works just fine.

It used to work like charm but nowadays, it is unfortunately useless. WebWhat Twitch is doing is they are integrating the ad database, they are playing it as if it were a stream, thus, the normal ad-block method does not work. There is another ad-blocking method, DNS blocking, instead of removing the part that points the webpage to the database, it misdirects the database as to where to send the ads. Webp.s: Twitch is a bit clunky and it might takes a few secs sometimes to load the stream. I see the infamous ''commercial in progress'' rarely, but it doesn't load, and it goes back to the stream. You might see an ''blocking ads'' warning sometimes at the top of the screen. I only turn on twitch extensions when i wanna use twitch.

WebMar 30, 2024 · Hi, yes the errors disappeared. I just tested the version and it seems like that the extension doesn't block Twitch Ads anymore when using manifest v3. I had to revert the changes to manifest.json.
