WebDec 30, 2011 · Hi, i am encountering a weird situation . bunch of IP phones are not getting IP address from DHCP server phone model is 7906. there are bunch of ip phones having the same problem. i tried so many different things but could not solve the issue. DHCP is working fine, ports are OK. DHCP is configured on publisher and we are using CUCM … WebJun 26, 2012 · Press the settings button on the phone to check the status messages section to see what the phone is doing or having problems with. From there you can see if the phone is failing to reach it's TFTP server to download it's configuration file or just cannot reach the server/router possibly due to a hostname being used the phone cannot resolve.
